Dremel Custom Competition
The NZHWCC Custom Competition is open to anyone registered to attend convention and is designed for all levels of customisers and customisation.
This competition is sponsored by Dremel and MyCustomHotwheels, who are both providing some great prizes.
The main competition is divided into 3 main categories and there will also be a stand alone Custom Show & Shine for you to display your previous builds.
The winner of each category will be awarded a trophy and prize.
The 3 main categories will be run anonymously. So, on the day the customs will be handed to the people organising the comps in either a box or bag and all cars will be displayed and judged anonymously.
Each category will be judged by 3 Judges.
There is also a peoples choice award covering all customs displayed including the custom show and shine. The winner will receive a one off custom car from My Custom Hot Wheels.

Rules
You must start fresh builds for these cars and we ask that you don't share these Customs on FB/IG etc before the Convention to try to keep the playing field as even as possible.
You may enter one custom per category.
There will also be a Peoples Choice award which everyone who comes to the convention may vote on. The Show & Shine will also be included in the Peoples Choice.
Please Note: A Customiser can only win one first prize. If a customiser wins more than one category they may choose one prize from the categories they won and the other prizes will go to the next placed customs.
Custom Competition
Categories
Stock:
This category basically consists of a custom paint job (repaint), or airbrushed graphics/decals on a stock Hot Wheels® car. No body modifications are allowed. Any wheels are allowed from any manufacturer.
Modified:
This category involves minor body alterations. The word here is ""minor,"" such as adding a hood scoop or rear spoiler, changing engines, lowering of the car or raising the suspensions. Main body part should start out as a Hot Wheels® body. Any wheels are allowed from any manufacturer.
Super Modified:
The Super Modified Category is for customs that are extreme! Anything goes! From stretching, cutting, grafting, filling, chopping, shortening, mixing-adding body parts, changing suspensions, use of styrene, etc., use your imagination. Main body part should start out as a Hot Wheels® body. Any wheels are allowed from any manufacturer.
